Virtual teachers day celebration in college

‘Good teachers are the reasons why ordinary students dreams to do extra ordinary things.’
Every year 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
This year students of DACC celebrated Virtual Teachers Day with full enthusiasm and devotion to make this day special.

A seminar held on 13th January 2020 on the topic by Dr Ramdas Biradar (HOD of Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology). A valuable guidance regarding the importance of subject knowledge, communication Skills, Self Study and time management was given by him to the students. At the end of the session queries regarding different upcoming Career Options was discussed. Approximately 100 Students and faculty members became the part of this Seminar

With this spirit International Women’s Day was celebrated by DACC. As the theme of the 109th International Women’s Day was “#BalanceforBetter” which was amazingly represented by a Drama, Poetry, Singing & Dance. The Guest of honor was Dr. Sangita Ghodake & Prof. Radhika Kutti. Dr. Sangita delivered a great inspirational & motivational speech for us.

Intercollegiate competition

The Rockstars of DACC won first prize at intercollegiate competition@DPU & SVIMS: A proud moment for the college.

With Desire,Dedication & Determination,#TheRockstarsofDACC participated in a competition held at Kirloskar Institute of Management studies and again they won.
The Fashion show group “Incredible India” won Runner-up prize in Fashion show and Tej Pratap won prize for Solo dancer.There were other more performances by them as well.

Industrial Visit 2020

Industrial visit is considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching. The main reason behind this- it lets student to know things practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. At this time, students from BBA & BBA (CA) went to Mapro Industries at Mahabaleshwar. Students received detailed information about food processing, management system. Approximately 90 students were present for the visit.

Annual Function

Dnyansagar Arts & Commerce College celebrated its most anxiously awaited Annual Day on Feb 5, 2019 at Nilu Phule Natyagruh. Dr.Dattatray Mahadam, Head of Sports Department at Savitribai Phule Pune University was the Guest of Honour for the day.The Honorable Principal Dr.Sajid Alvi,the teachers, students and parents were present in the programme.
There were multiple performances by the students. The event started by paying a devotion to Maa Saraswati. The Honorable Principal felicitated The Guest of Honour with a token of love. The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, singing, ramp walk, stand up comedy, poetry etc.
Also there was prize distribution for Annual Sports and Annual Days Events.

Traditional Day

“I believe in traditions; I believe in the idea of things being passed between generations and the slow transmission of cultural values through tradition.”
With this spirit traditional day was organised on Day 4 of FESTIVO 2018-19.
All the students and faculties were in Traditional Attire and participated in the event. There were various funny games also.Best costume (male) was given to Ankur Dhage(TYBBA) & Best Costume (Female) to Payal Tapkir.

Chocolate Day

Day 3 of FESTIVO 2018-19 was followed by celebrating Chocolate Day on 30th Jan,2019. The students presented chocolates to their friends secretly in the box. Later on the result was announced and the student receiving maximum number of chocolates was announced as winner. The different categories were Dairy milk for Special Friend, 5 star for friend and Kitkat for Enemy. There were funny games also.

Rangoli/Mehendi/Tattoo competition & selfie Day

DAY two of “FESTIVO” started with Selfie Day. This day was celebrated to showcase the craze of Selfie among students. There was a competition among the students for getting maximum likes for their selfies on social media.The participants posted their selfie on FB & Instagram on the spot and later on after half an hour the team/individulal getting maximum likes was chosen as winner.
There were 8 groups as participants for competing.
Vishal ,Rohit, Rushikesh and Yash from FY B.Com were the winners with 48 likes in half an hour. There were funny games as well.Second half of the Day 2 was Rangoli,Mehendi and Tattoo competiotion. Numerous students participated oin this.
The winners were Vaisahnavi (FY BCA) for Rangoli, Anisha (FY BBA) for Mehendi & Sana (SY BBA) for Tattoo.

Bollywood Day

DACC started the Annual Event “FESTIVO 2018-19”. DAY one started with “BOLLYWOOD DAY” on 28th Jan 2019. This day was organized to give a tribute to Indian Cinema (Bollywood). The students were in the get up of various actors, actress and pesonalities of Bollywood : Aishwarya Rai (Paro), Priyanka Chopra (Kashibai),Kareena Kapoor(Geet), Asin, Bala Saheb Thackeray(Thackeray), Shahrukh Khan (Mohabbatein), Mumtaj, Rajnikant (Maari), and Shammi Kapoor, Kapil Sharma. There were various performances like dancing, singing and standup comedy.
The Best actor and actress award was given to Somyaranjan Jena (FY BBA) as Rajnikant & Ananya Jain (TY BBA) as Asin from the movie Gajni respectively.

Annual Sports 2018-19

The most awaited event “Annual Sports” was organized on 21st January & 22nd January 2019. The event was held in spacious college ground. The programme started with the welcome address by the Principal. Then honourable Principal lit the flame of the mashaal and two students took a round of entire ground with mashaal to show sportsmanship.The students participated in different games like Running,Cricket, Badminton,Kho-Kho,Dodge Ball,Football. The participants played with great enthusiasm. The winners shall be awarded with medals and certificates on Annual Function

Dandia fest (17 October 2018)

Dandia which is a folk dance and special feature of the Navratri festival was celebrated by BBA & BBA (CA) dept.of DACC on 17th October.
All the students and faculties were in colourful attire along with beautifully decorated bamboo Dandia Sticks and danced very energetically.
Kiran Choure from FY BBA & Yogita Jadhav of SY BBA(CA) were given prizes for Best dancer and Best Costume.

Bhondala (17 October 2018)

B.Com dept.of DACC celebrated cultural event of Bhondala on 17th October on the occasion of Navratri. The girl students and faculties enjoyed traditional songs and traditional games like fugadi, zimma.They made a picture of elephant as a symbol of God Ganesh and hastnakshatra

Kavitao ka Karwan (19 September 2018)

DACC organized a program dedicated to Poetry.
In this programme Poet Raghunaath Patil recited humorous marathi poems. Poet Pro.Dinesh Bhosale recited hindi urdu poems. Two girls students from B.Com.trade and B.B.A. trade also took a chance to recite their poems. Just after then Dr. Sanjeevani Tophkhane (Director, Karweer Nagar Wachan Mandir Kolhapur) delivered the lecture on Positive Attitude. Students enjoyed this combined programme.

Teacher’s Day celebration(5th September 2018)

The students of DACC organized TEACHERS’ DAY to celebrate the unparalleled contribution of the teachers. Both the students and staffs of college gathered joyfully for the celebration. Teachers loved the activities, performances and the fun games hosted by the students.

FRESHER's Party 2018-19

Freshers party was organised at DACC to welcome the new 2018-19 batch of BBA & BBA(CA).
The senior batch had arrange different games and funny activities for their juniors. The new comers were fully excited in the event and enjoyed a lot.
Ms.Leesa and Mr.Sanket from BBA were chosen as Mr.& Ms.Fresher 2018.

INDUCTION (13th july 2018)

DACC organized an Induction programme for BBA & BBA(CA) for 2018-19 batch. The program was conducted in the presence of Chairperson Sri. Ganpatrao Balwadkar, Trustee Dr.Sagar Balwadkar, Honourable Principal Dr.Sajid Alvi, faculty members and students.
The speakers for the day were Mr.Amit Zagade an IT professional currently working with Brainstorms Business Solutions as Director for Operations. And Mr.Pravin Mutkete, MBA ,Marketing , Director at Soham Life Consultancy. It was a very interactive session. They guided the students with their expertise about how to remain focused, how to set goals and the means to achieve them.
The students took part in all the activities very enthusiastically.

"Cyclothon 2018"

On the occasion of women’s day, Cyclothon was organized by Dnyansagar Institute of Management and Research, C.M. International School, Dnyansagar Arts and Commerce college and Rotary club of Pune Cosmopolitan on Sunday 11th March 2018.

From 5 years kids to 60 years senior citizens, all had taken part in this event. All the participant were very energetic and enthusiastic . Cyclothon was arranged for 5 km, 8km and 15 km. Dr. Sajid Alvi, Director of DIMR, Mrs. Rupali Dhamdhere, Principal of C.M. International school, Dr. Ravindra Hude and Satyajeet Umarjikar of Rotary club inaugurated the event.

All the winners were felicitated with medals and certificates by Shri. Ganpat Balwadkar, the Chairman of Shri Khanderai Pratishthan.

Once again the Rockstars of DACC remarked their names in the winning list in a tough competition at Sadhuvashvani Institute of Management in the Annual event organised.

The college won various prizes in different categories:

"Industrial visit 2017-18"

An Industrial visit to “Parle & Mamta state Cooperative Milk society ltd.”Satara was organised by BBA Dept.on Saturday, ,10th of March 2018.Twenty five BBA students and two faculties visited both the companies to understand the entire manufacturing process,latest applied technologies, different departments etc.The visit was concluded with Question Answer session.Many of the students asked questions to the technical head.It was an informative , interesting and a successful visit.

Trip :"Collect moment not things."

BBA department organised an Industrial visit cum trip for the students at a Resort in Boregaon, Satara district. Students after having visited to companies departed for the Resort.They enjoyed a lot. There were several activities like swimming,Horse cart riding,rain dance, boating etc.All the students were very excited and everyone showed their involvement.

“FESTIVO”-a platform for students to showcase their hidden talent.
A college is marked by its great events that includes its annual social gathering. Every year, annual gathering of DACC has reached to its highest level of success and thus, aiming a step higher, this year it known as “FESTIVO”. It started from 28th of January,2018 and ended on 1st of February,2018.

FESTIVO was a 3-day festival of the college that included various events wherein students were given chance to think, step forward and showcase their talent. These events have their own colour and are very unique in their own way. These included ColoursDay,Chocoloateday,Traditional Day & The Annual Gathering.
The event was inaugurated on 27th of February,2018 by celebrating Colours day and chocolate day. The students were present in the decided theme of the colour. There was a competition among all the participants. Several entertaining and funny games were also conducted. The next day 30th of January,Traditional day was celebrated. All the students and staffs were present in Indian Tradition of different cultures. There were winners for Best costume one each from boy and girl.

The same day Rangoli,Mehendi& Tattoo competition was also organized.
The last day of “FESTIVO” was followed by Annual gathering which was the most eagerly awaited event of the year, for it is a day of fun and joy.The annual gathering provided the students with the opportunity to show off their talent.

The program was held at NatyasamratNiluPhuleNatyagruh. The function began with playing of National anthem followed by a tribute to MaaSaraswati. The Honorable Chairman Shri.Ganpatrao M. Balwadkar, The Secretary Dr. Saagar G. Balwadkar, The Principal Dr.SajidAlvi and all the faculty members were present in the program. There were many marvelous performances including dancing,singing,poetry and acting by the students. The prize distribution for the Annual Sports, competitions and felicitation of passed out students was also there.

“True sportsmanship is excellence in motion”.Dnyansagar Arts & Commerce College organised Annual Sports on 27th & 28th of December,2017.There were several teams for Cricket, Football, Khoko, Dodge ball, Carrom.Maximum number of students participated in all the events and showed a very good sportsmanship and team Spirit during the event.

NSS CAMP-2017 "

The NSS Unit of the college had organize seven days camp from 16th of November to 22nd of November, 2017 at Kasarsai Village,Taluka-Mulshi, Pune. The camp was attended by 50 students and faculty members. The main theme and motive of the camp was Cleanliness.
The first day of the camp initiated with the inauguration in the presence of Honourable Principal Dr. Sajid Alvi who felicitated the Sarpanch of the village Mr.Lalit Shinde and all other guests.
The program officer was Prof. Munmun Puranik and the Program Coordinators were Prof. Yogesh Deshmukh & Mr. Sunil Kamble.
The NSS volunteers cleaned the village areas and roads as their regular routine for entire 7 days. It was followed by several lectures and interactive sessions highlighting the various problems such as cleanliness,education,unemployment &water. During the camp, the students also had the opportunity to visit various nearby places like Sugar factory, GanpatiMandir, Secondary school, Kasarsai Dam, WaghzaiTekri, Pratishirdi. The students did the cooking also during the entire camp.
The last day & the winding up of the camp was held in the presence of Founder Chairman ShriGanpatraoBalwadkar and Sarpanch of the village. Also, DSP Waykar (Hinzewadi) interacted with the students and made them aware about safety measures for Cyber & Mobile crime.

The Induction programme for the 2017-18 batch of BBA,BCA & B.Com was held on 18th of August ,2017. The aim of the programme was to ensure that every student feels welcomed, engaged and excited to begin this new important stage in their education. The motive was to make the students aware of their prospective opportunities and to show them the path they need to adopt.
The programme was inaugurated by lightening of lamps. The Guests of Honour were Dr. Sanjay Kaptan, former Professor and HOD Commerce & Research department Savitribai Phule Pune University and Mr. Ashish Deshmukh, Branch Head, Axis Bank, Balewadi. The honorable Chairman Mr.Ganpatrao Balwadkar and Principal Dr.Sajid Alvi also addressed the students. The Principal Dr. Sajid Alvi delivered the inaugural address where he welcomed the students and advised them with his words of wisdom. All the Faculty members were present for the programme. Both the guests were felicitated by the director and the Chairman.

Fresher’s Party was organised to welcome the new comers of 2017-18 batch of BBA, BCA & B.Com students at DACC. The event commenced with welcome dance by Ananya Jain of SYBBA which was a tribute to Lord Ganesha. Then there were many other dance programs. Umesh Kanekar of SYBCom also showed his tremendous performance.
There were many games for fresher. For freshers, there was ramp walk. There was a competition for Mr. & Ms. Fresher 2017-18. Tej from FYBCom & Shrishti of FYBBA were chosen as Mr.& Ms. Fresher respectively.
This was an exceptional day with the glimpse of joys, laughs and happiness.

Trees help to clean the air, soil and water, making the earth a beautiful livable place. Living close to trees makes us healthier and happier If you want to save trees, you can help by protecting those that grow around your home, and planting more Trees. Reduce the use of paper products, too.

DACC & DIMR along with all the faculty members and students enthusiastically joined Govt. of Maharashtra’s ‘GREEN ARMY’ for ‘TREE PLANTATION’ Drive on 5th July 2017 at Ravet. Each of them  put their foot forward to plant a tree to save our Mother earth and gift the next generation clean and healthy environment –  A step towards a deeper commitment to environmental protection  through planting new trees and  taking care of the existing ones.

“If the present generation cuts down trees, their children will have to pay the fees.”

We must motivate our friends and family members to join hands together to save our beautiful earth and join an organization working to save Tress around us.

Annual Sports Day is an important event in the life of every school or college. Sports in themselves are an indispensable part of study. School or college life without sports would be dull and dreary.

The Annual Sports Day of our college was held in February 2017 . It was held in the “spacious  college grounds. The First event was Cricket match .It Drew large number of participants simultaneously there were other action like kabbaddi, football and chess. the tug of war between different teams of girls and boys.

The director sir felicitated the winners and the participants with medals and certificates.

The students of DACC organized TEACHERS’ DAY to celebrate the unparalleled contribution of the teachers. Both the students and staffs of college gathered joyfully for the celebration. Teachers loved the activities, performances and the fun games hosted by the students.

FRESHER's Party 2018-19

Freshers party was organised at DACC to welcome the new 2018-19 batch of BBA & BBA(CA).
The senior batch had arrange different games and funny activities for their juniors. The new comers were fully excited in the event and enjoyed a lot.
Ms.Leesa and Mr.Sanket from BBA were chosen as Mr.& Ms.Fresher 2018.

INDUCTION (13th july 2018)

DACC organized an Induction programme for BBA & BBA(CA) for 2018-19 batch. The program was conducted in the presence of Chairperson Sri. Ganpatrao Balwadkar, Trustee Dr.Sagar Balwadkar, Honourable Principal Dr.Sajid Alvi, faculty members and students.
The speakers for the day were Mr.Amit Zagade an IT professional currently working with Brainstorms Business Solutions as Director for Operations. And Mr.Pravin Mutkete, MBA ,Marketing , Director at Soham Life Consultancy. It was a very interactive session. They guided the students with their expertise about how to remain focused, how to set goals and the means to achieve them.
The students took part in all the activities very enthusiastically.

"Cyclothon 2018"

On the occasion of women’s day, Cyclothon was organized by Dnyansagar Institute of Management and Research, C.M. International School, Dnyansagar Arts and Commerce college and Rotary club of Pune Cosmopolitan on Sunday 11th March 2018.

From 5 years kids to 60 years senior citizens, all had taken part in this event. All the participant were very energetic and enthusiastic . Cyclothon was arranged for 5 km, 8km and 15 km. Dr. Sajid Alvi, Director of DIMR, Mrs. Rupali Dhamdhere, Principal of C.M. International school, Dr. Ravindra Hude and Satyajeet Umarjikar of Rotary club inaugurated the event.

All the winners were felicitated with medals and certificates by Shri. Ganpat Balwadkar, the Chairman of Shri Khanderai Pratishthan.

Once again the Rockstars of DACC remarked their names in the winning list in a tough competition at Sadhuvashvani Institute of Management in the Annual event organised.

"Industrial visit 2017-18"

An Industrial visit to “Parle & Mamta state Cooperative Milk society ltd.”Satara was organised by BBA Dept.on Saturday, ,10th of March 2018.Twenty five BBA students and two faculties visited both the companies to understand the entire manufacturing process,latest applied technologies, different departments etc.The visit was concluded with Question Answer session.Many of the students asked questions to the technical head.It was an informative , interesting and a successful visit.

Trip :"Collect moment not things."

BBA department organised an Industrial visit cum trip for the students at a Resort in Boregaon, Satara district. Students after having visited to companies departed for the Resort.They enjoyed a lot. There were several activities like swimming,Horse cart riding,rain dance, boating etc.All the students were very excited and everyone showed their involvement.

"Dnyansagar Arts and Commerce College Celebrates FESTIVO-2017-18."

“FESTIVO”-a platform for students to showcase their hidden talent.
A college is marked by its great events that includes its annual social gathering. Every year, annual gathering of DACC has reached to its highest level of success and thus, aiming a step higher, this year it known as “FESTIVO”. It started from 28th of January,2018 and ended on 1st of February,2018.

FESTIVO was a 3-day festival of the college that included various events wherein students were given chance to think, step forward and showcase their talent. These events have their own colour and are very unique in their own way. These included ColoursDay,Chocoloateday,Traditional Day & The Annual Gathering.
The event was inaugurated on 27th of February,2018 by celebrating Colours day and chocolate day. The students were present in the decided theme of the colour. There was a competition among all the participants. Several entertaining and funny games were also conducted. The next day 30th of January,Traditional day was celebrated. All the students and staffs were present in Indian Tradition of different cultures. There were winners for Best costume one each from boy and girl.

The same day Rangoli,Mehendi& Tattoo competition was also organized.
The last day of “FESTIVO” was followed by Annual gathering which was the most eagerly awaited event of the year, for it is a day of fun and joy.The annual gathering provided the students with the opportunity to show off their talent.

The program was held at NatyasamratNiluPhuleNatyagruh. The function began with playing of National anthem followed by a tribute to MaaSaraswati. The Honorable Chairman Shri.Ganpatrao M. Balwadkar, The Secretary Dr. Saagar G. Balwadkar, The Principal Dr.SajidAlvi and all the faculty members were present in the program. There were many marvelous performances including dancing,singing,poetry and acting by the students. The prize distribution for the Annual Sports, competitions and felicitation of passed out students was also there.

“True sportsmanship is excellence in motion”.Dnyansagar Arts & Commerce College organised Annual Sports on 27th & 28th of December,2017.There were several teams for Cricket, Football, Khoko, Dodge ball, Carrom.Maximum number of students participated in all the events and showed a very good sportsmanship and team Spirit during the event.

NSS CAMP-2017 "

The NSS Unit of the college had organize seven days camp from 16th of November to 22nd of November, 2017 at Kasarsai Village,Taluka-Mulshi, Pune. The camp was attended by 50 students and faculty members. The main theme and motive of the camp was Cleanliness.
The first day of the camp initiated with the inauguration in the presence of Honourable Principal Dr. Sajid Alvi who felicitated the Sarpanch of the village Mr.Lalit Shinde and all other guests.
The program officer was Prof. Munmun Puranik and the Program Coordinators were Prof. Yogesh Deshmukh & Mr. Sunil Kamble.
The NSS volunteers cleaned the village areas and roads as their regular routine for entire 7 days. It was followed by several lectures and interactive sessions highlighting the various problems such as cleanliness,education,unemployment &water. During the camp, the students also had the opportunity to visit various nearby places like Sugar factory, GanpatiMandir, Secondary school, Kasarsai Dam, WaghzaiTekri, Pratishirdi. The students did the cooking also during the entire camp.
The last day & the winding up of the camp was held in the presence of Founder Chairman ShriGanpatraoBalwadkar and Sarpanch of the village. Also, DSP Waykar (Hinzewadi) interacted with the students and made them aware about safety measures for Cyber & Mobile crime.

Induction programme on 18th of August 2017 "

The Induction programme for the 2017-18 batch of BBA,BCA & B.Com was held on 18th of August ,2017. The aim of the programme was to ensure that every student feels welcomed, engaged and excited to begin this new important stage in their education. The motive was to make the students aware of their prospective opportunities and to show them the path they need to adopt.
The programme was inaugurated by lightening of lamps. The Guests of Honour were Dr. Sanjay Kaptan, former Professor and HOD Commerce & Research department Savitribai Phule Pune University and Mr. Ashish Deshmukh, Branch Head, Axis Bank, Balewadi. The honorable Chairman Mr.Ganpatrao Balwadkar and Principal Dr.Sajid Alvi also addressed the students. The Principal Dr. Sajid Alvi delivered the inaugural address where he welcomed the students and advised them with his words of wisdom. All the Faculty members were present for the programme. Both the guests were felicitated by the director and the Chairman.

Fresher’s Party was organised to welcome the new comers of 2017-18 batch of BBA, BCA & B.Com students at DACC. The event commenced with welcome dance by Ananya Jain of SYBBA which was a tribute to Lord Ganesha. Then there were many other dance programs. Umesh Kanekar of SYBCom also showed his tremendous performance.
There were many games for fresher. For freshers, there was ramp walk. There was a competition for Mr. & Ms. Fresher 2017-18. Tej from FYBCom & Shrishti of FYBBA were chosen as Mr.& Ms. Fresher respectively.
This was an exceptional day with the glimpse of joys, laughs and happiness.

Trees help to clean the air, soil and water, making the earth a beautiful livable place. Living close to trees makes us healthier and happier If you want to save trees, you can help by protecting those that grow around your home, and planting more Trees. Reduce the use of paper products, too.

DACC & DIMR along with all the faculty members and students enthusiastically joined Govt. of Maharashtra’s ‘GREEN ARMY’ for ‘TREE PLANTATION’ Drive on 5th July 2017 at Ravet. Each of them  put their foot forward to plant a tree to save our Mother earth and gift the next generation clean and healthy environment –  A step towards a deeper commitment to environmental protection  through planting new trees and  taking care of the existing ones.

“If the present generation cuts down trees, their children will have to pay the fees.”

We must motivate our friends and family members to join hands together to save our beautiful earth and join an organization working to save Tress around us.

Annual Sports Day is an important event in the life of every school or college. Sports in themselves are an indispensable part of study. School or college life without sports would be dull and dreary.

The Annual Sports Day of our college was held in February 2017 . It was held in the “spacious  college grounds. The First event was Cricket match .It Drew large number of participants simultaneously there were other action like kabbaddi, football and chess. the tug of war between different teams of girls and boys.

The director sir felicitated the winners and the participants with medals and certificates.
